Age of vineries: the average age of Chateau de Tigné is 28 years, but this cuvée is generated from vineries more than 40 years old.
Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in inox steel pools, at a controlled temperature of 28° C for a 21-day-long maceration.
Refining: 40% in wood, 60% in steel. Deep red, olfactory sensations of red fruits, grass, spices, almost ripe tannins. The soil is composed of gravel over red clay, mixed with quartz and cistus. vinification take place at low temperature in steel vats, and then the wine is put in barriques for 12 months. It’s a particular wine, not the usual Chardonnay.
